About us
The type of connections varies and reflects the interests and wishes of the ELVIS partners. This can be a simple informal exchange between the partners, a systematic benchmarking or a fully integrated operational system such as the Part Load network. In some places, networks are in an intermediate stage where partners have not yet achieved a higher level of integration. Here it is up to the partners to determine how well the cooperation develops. ELVIS offers connections and networks that fill the partners with life according to their personal wishes and ideas.
ELVIS has a mature network of external contacts who offer ELVIS partners optimal support. Of course, ELVIS also passes on its purchasing power to its partners at this point and negotiates preferential terms.
In a highly regulated market like logistics, fast and reliable information about the current status of the political and legal guard rails is a decisive competitive advantage.
The increasing cost pressure, the growing competition from Eastern Europe and the demands of the digitization of industry and economy make life difficult for many freight forwarders and logistics service providers. With the aim of counteracting this, twelve medium-sized freight forwarders came together in October 2006 and founded ELVIS, the European Cargo Association of International Freight Forwarders. The idea behind it was yesterday as it is today to build a community of interests that offers its partners protection, strength and a home.
Last but not least, the figures show that this plan worked: ELVIS AG currently has more than 250 partners who together maintain more than 280 locations, 19,000 pulling units and 3 million m² of storage space.
In April 2021, ELVIS officially founded the pan-European transport network Paneco together with other logistics networks. Together, this network of networks in the areas of general cargo and part loads covers all of Europe’s major economic zones from the very beginning. The start of the operational business was in summer 2021.
Paneco is a Pan-European, cross-border transport network operated by international companies in the transport and logistics industry.
Founded in spring 2021 by four transport companies: Fine Logistics (Poland), ELVIS (Germany), Cargo 24 (Switzerland) and ABC (Italy), it currently counts more than 20 partners which together connect over 30 European countries. Both customers and partners benefit from the new network: fast handling, Europe-wide transports to its far corners, a common IT system and transparent processes.
Each partner provides its own network for cooperation. The local infrastructure of each participant allows a simplification in the operational handling in the respective country.
Paneco plans to expand its network to all countries in Europe and to integrate more partners regionally as shipments increase.
ELVIS AG was successfully certified for the first time in 2011 by AJA Registrars Germany GmbH.
