The ELVIS part-load system is a system-driven network service for part loads that cannot be combined with other shipments. It bridges the gap between the groupage and full-load business and enables efficient, plannable handling via a central hub.

ELVIS BI-Transport is a business intelligence (BI) full-service solution for freight forwarders and logistics companies. It connects data from different systems and presents all relevant KPIs in clear dashboards and reports – up to date and fully automated.

The system is suitable for part loads that cannot be sensibly combined with other shipments – for example due to dimensions, handling requirements or fixed delivery times.

The platform reads data from virtually all relevant systems, e.g.:

  • Transport management systems (TMS)
  • Telematics systems
  • Warehouse systems
  • Financial accounting (FiBu)
  • HR and workshop systems

This creates a cross-system, consolidated data foundation.

Network partners bring their part loads to the ELVIS central hub in Knüllwald. There the shipments are systematically transhipped and then handed over to partners for the respective destination region, who take them along to their home region.

ELVIS BI-Transport is aimed at freight forwarders, carriers and logistics service providers who want to manage their transport performance, vehicle utilisation and customer profitability based on data.

The central transshipment hub of the ELVIS part-load system is located in Knüllwald and is the heart of daily system-driven handling.

Companies receive, among others:

  • Contribution margin per truck
  • Vehicle utilisation
  • Empty kilometres
  • Delivery and transport quality
  • Customer profitability
  • Revenue and tour analyses

The analyses are multi-dimensional at customer, order and tour level.

Currently around 150 national and approximately 30 international depots are connected to the ELVIS part-load system – with daily departures to even the most remote regions of Germany.

With ELVIS BI-Transport, all relevant logistics KPIs are available automatically and up to date. Manual Excel evaluations or reconciliations between systems are no longer necessary.

Thanks to daily departures, a high density of partners and system-driven handling, short and reliable transit times are achieved – both nationally and internationally.

Transparent KPIs help you spot:

  • Inefficient tours

This allows you to derive concrete recommendations for action and to sustainably increase your competitiveness.

Fixed routes provide:

The scope of services includes, among other things:

  • Notification

These services are standard components of the system.

ELVIS networking stands for targeted exchange, connectivity and collaboration among partner companies. Through events, working groups, training and community formats, ELVIS brings the right people together to learn from each other, share knowledge and develop joint solutions.

The ELVIS data protection solution offers companies a legally secure and fully managed implementation of data protection requirements. The core component is the provision of an external data protection officer, including assumption of liability, an integrated management system (IMS) and regular audits.

ELVIS bundles a wide range of formats, including:

  • ELVIS benchmarking groups & working groups
  • Joint training offerings & workshops
  • The annual ELVIS Partner Assembly
  • ELVIS regional meetings
  • Sales and specialist workshops
  • ELVIS Young Professionals
  • ELVIS driver meetings

All formats are tailored to different target groups and interests within the partner network.

Logistics companies process large volumes of personal data every day – e.g. from drivers, customers, clients or recipients. Violations of the GDPR can lead to heavy fines, liability risks and reputational damage. A professional data protection solution minimises these risks sustainably.

In benchmarking groups and working groups, partners exchange views on specific specialist, market or management topics. The goal is to compare KPIs, processes and best practices and develop them further jointly – in a practice-oriented and equal manner.

An external data protection officer takes on all legally required tasks under the GDPR. They advise the company, monitor compliance with data protection requirements, conduct audits and are available at all times as a contact for data protection questions.

The training offerings are specifically aimed at different target groups within partner companies – from management through to sales, dispatch and emerging leaders. Content is delivered in a practice-oriented way and is aligned with current industry challenges.

  • No internal training or staffing effort
  • Immediate legal certainty
  • Access to specialised expertise
  • Transfer of liability to the service provider
  • Predictable costs instead of internal fixed costs

The ELVIS Partner Assembly is the central annual meeting of the partner network. It provides space for exchange, information, strategic direction and personal networking – supplemented by specialist presentations, discussions and insights into current developments at ELVIS.

When an external data protection officer is commissioned, liability transfers to the service provider. In addition, insurance cover of up to €10 million per claim is in place, providing a high level of protection.

ELVIS regional meetings promote personal exchange at regional level. They strengthen a sense of community, facilitate regional cooperations and enable direct dialogue between partners with similar market conditions.

The insurance cover protects against possible damages arising from data protection violations up to a sum of €10 million per claim. This provides comprehensive protection for companies even in the event of serious incidents.

ELVIS Young Professionals is a dedicated community for young emerging and future leaders in the partner network. The goal is to promote exchange among like-minded people, build leadership competencies and sharpen the focus on future developments in logistics.

The integrated management system (IMS) enables structured and transparent monitoring of all data-protection-relevant processes within the company and supports compliance with legal requirements.

Personal contacts build trust. Through regular encounters, reliable networks emerge from which cooperations, new ideas and long-term partnerships grow – regionally and nationally.

Yes. The external data protection officer carries out annual data protection audits, assesses the current implementation status and provides concrete recommendations for improvement. This ensures your company's ongoing GDPR compliance.

In addition to exchange within the network, ELVIS provides access to external specialists and experts who support partners specifically with entrepreneurial, operational or strategic questions.

  1. Signing of a contract
  2. On-site visit by the service provider
  3. Analysis of existing data protection processes
  4. Audit and definition of required measures
  5. Ongoing support, consultation and audit management

The goal is to promote partnership-based exchange, make knowledge practically accessible and enable cooperations – aligned with the individual interests, challenges and goals of the partner companies.

The solution is suitable for:

  • Small and medium-sized companies
  • Freight forwarders and carriers
  • Logistics service providers
  • Companies without their own data protection department

ELVIS driver meetings are specifically aimed at drivers of partner companies. They promote exchange, appreciation and practical dialogue, thereby strengthening a sense of community throughout the entire network.

  • Provision of an external data protection officer
  • Assumption of liability and insurance cover
  • Annual audits
  • Ongoing consultation on data protection matters
  • Use of the integrated management system

Partners benefit from, among other things:

  • Knowledge exchange & practical relevance: Access to exclusive know-how and best practices from the partner network
  • Strengthening community: Personal contacts that build trust and enable cooperations
  • Individual development: Target-group-specific further training and community formats
  • Impulses for the future: Joint discussion of trends, innovations and strategies
  • External expertise: Access to a proven network of specialists to support individual challenges

You can get in touch at any time or arrange a personal consultation appointment. Together we will clarify your needs and show you the optimal path to a legally secure data protection solution.

The offerings are aimed at partner companies of ELVIS AG and their employees – depending on the respective format and target group.

The process begins with a personal conversation. Together we explore:

  • Whether ELVIS fits your company strategy
  • Which services make sense
  • How integration can be carried out

The contract review identifies liability risks at an early stage, avoids coverage gaps and ensures a balanced relationship between liability and insurance cover. This prevents existential threats.

Because ELVIS:

  • Combines the strength of a large network with the freedom of a medium-sized company
  • Unites operational networks and strategic services
  • Works in a partnership-oriented, long-term and practice-focused way

Yes. With appropriate authorisation, ELVIS handles direct contract negotiations – both with clients and with insurers – and actively accompanies projects.

  • Whether liability provisions are insurable
  • What alternatives exist from an insurance perspective
  • Which risks can be reduced or avoided

A suitable insurance solution is then developed and calculated.

ELVIS combines cooperation instead of competition, medium-sized business thinking instead of corporate logic and operational strength with strategic foresight.
The network helps partners to master challenges together and remain successful in the long term.

In this case, ELVIS develops needs-based insurance solutions to establish comprehensive and economically sensible insurance cover.

Via the website, by email or by phone. The relevant contact details and contacts can be found at www.elvis-ag.com.

ELVIS SEAL is a specially developed sea freight concept for handling container shipments between Europe and South-East Asia. It enables ELVIS partners to offer import and export services efficiently and transparently with fixed door-to-door freight rates – without their own overseas department.

ELVIS offers worldwide sea freight solutions for import and export, for both:

  • Want to generate additional business
  • Want to offer customers complete door-to-door solutions

  • 1,800 kg
  • 6.5 m long
  • 2.0 m wide
  • 2.5 m high

This allows even particularly demanding shipments to be handled reliably.

Delivery is carried out by a local ELVIS network partner with the necessary technical equipment (piggyback forklift or crane). This ensures expert delivery to the desired place of use.

All shipments within the network are handled IT-supported and system-driven. Complete shipment tracking ensures maximum transparency throughout the entire transport process.

E-commerce is seeing increasing demand for the delivery of heavy and bulky goods directly to the place of use. The ELVIS crane and piggyback forklift network enables exactly this type of delivery – efficiently, plannably and scalably.

Yes. The network operates with uniform rates and fixed transit times, providing high pricing certainty and plannability.

By consolidating transports within the network, deploying local delivery partners and reducing empty and individual runs, transports are carried out more efficiently and with less resource consumption.

The central transshipment hub for ELVIS Special Solutions is located in Knüllwald and manages the system-driven handling of shipments.

Unlike individual services, ELVIS offers a structured, system-driven network with fixed partners, uniform standards, transparent IT connectivity and clearly defined transit times.

Crane transport makes sense when:

  • No unloading facility is available on site,
  • Heavy goods cannot be moved manually,
  • The goods need to be lifted over obstacles,
  • Precise placement is required (e.g. construction site, foundation, assembly area).

Typical goods: building elements, machinery, steel, containers, precast concrete parts or technical installations.

A piggyback forklift is ideal when:

  • The shipment is palletised or stackable,
  • No loading dock or forklift is available at the delivery point,
  • The goods need to be placed several metres from the vehicle,
  • Construction sites or hard-to-reach delivery locations need to be served.

Typical goods: pallet goods, building materials, big bags, metal products, timber, industrial components.

Yes. The ELVIS crane and piggyback forklift network is designed for cross-border use and enables international transport within the European network.

For smooth operation, the following conditions should be met:

  • Sufficient space for manoeuvring and parking the vehicle
  • Load-bearing ground (especially for crane operations)
  • Safe access (no narrow passages, low clearances or soft ground)
  • No hazards from power lines, trees or construction obstacles

If necessary, our partners check feasibility in advance.

The possible load capacity depends on vehicle type, outreach and operating conditions. Especially with cranes: the greater the reach, the lower the possible load.
For safe planning we recommend stating the weight, dimensions and desired unloading conditions.

As a rule, no – as long as the vehicle is on private property or does not block public areas.
Should road closures, pavement use or special safety measures be required, we will assist with coordination and planning.

Costs depend on, among other things:

  • Distance and route
  • Weight and dimensions
  • Duration of use (e.g. crane time on site)
  • Accessibility and local conditions
  • Vehicle type required and additional services

Each order is individually calculated so that price and service fit exactly.

To enable us to prepare a suitable offer quickly, the following details are helpful:

  • Collection and delivery address
  • Type of goods (e.g. machinery, pallets, components)
  • Dimensions and weight
  • Number of packages
  • Desired date / time window
  • Photos or sketches of the unloading situation (optional, but very helpful)

Because ELVIS combines the strength of a Europe-wide network with the flexibility of specialised medium-sized logistics companies. Our partners offer modern vehicles, experienced drivers and reliable processes – including for demanding construction site and special transports.

An outdated TMS can hinder growth. Missing interfaces, inflexible processes, low automation or absent AI functions lead to inefficient workflows, media breaks and unnecessary costs. A structured TMS analysis creates transparency and future-proofing.

The following factors should be considered when selecting a TMS:

  • Individual process requirements
  • Integration capability (e.g. telematics, freight exchanges, EDI, financial accounting)
  • Scalability and future-proofing
  • Degree of automation and AI functions
  • Total cost of ownership (TCO)

A thorough needs analysis is crucial to avoid poor decisions.

The market for transport management systems is complex and difficult to navigate. Many freight forwarders rely on recommendations or vendor presentations – without structured evaluation.
Independent consulting ensures:

  • Objective analysis
  • Comparison of all established providers
  • A comprehensible decision-making basis
  • Avoidance of costly wrong decisions

ELVIS accompanies freight forwarders and logistics companies through:

  • Analysis of the current situation
  • Definition of concrete requirements
  • Creation of a structured shortlist
  • Evaluation of suitable TMS providers
  • Support during contract negotiations

This creates a well-founded decision-making basis.

  • Greater investment security
  • Better process mapping
  • Reduced project risk
  • Long-term scalability
  • Clear cost control

A TMS implementation affects:

  • Operational processes
  • Dispatch and billing
  • Interfaces to customers and partners
  • Internal communication
  • Organisational structures

Without professional project and change management, delays and acceptance problems quickly arise.

Typical risks include:

  • Unclear project structure
  • Insufficient resources
  • Poor communication
  • Time delays and budget overruns
  • Resistance within the team

Structured project management significantly reduces these risks.

The duration depends on company size, system complexity and integration scope. With professional support, project timelines can be significantly optimised and risks minimised.

A modern TMS is a central building block of digital transformation in logistics. It enables:

  • Automated dispatch
  • Digital document processing
  • Real-time tracking
  • AI-supported optimisations
  • Transparent KPIs

This increases freight forwarders' efficiency and competitiveness.

The consulting is aimed at:

  • Medium-sized freight forwarders
  • Carriers
  • Logistics service providers
  • Companies with growth plans
  • Businesses with outdated software structures

In an initial conversation:

  • Your current system landscape
  • Your processes
  • Your strategic goals are analysed. A structured approach is then defined – independent, transparent and future-proof.

A TMS migration makes sense when:

  • Processes are too inflexible
  • Important interfaces are missing
  • Manual effort is high
  • The system does not grow with the company
  • New customer or market requirements cannot be met

ELVIS analyses your current situation, processes and requirements, evaluates the market objectively and creates a structured shortlist of suitable TMS providers. This enables you to make a well-founded decision and avoid wrong choices.

No. ELVIS is neutral and independent and draws on all established TMS providers. Recommendations are made solely on the basis of your requirements.

The introduction of a new TMS changes workflows, roles, processes and structures. Without professional project and change management, resistance, delays and additional costs frequently arise.

ELVIS brings market knowledge and experience and uses the strength of the ELVIS network to clearly represent your interests in contract and performance discussions.

Yes. Support is flexibly scalable – from pure TMS selection through to complete project management during the migration.

Because ELVIS:

  • Provides independent, vendor-neutral consulting
  • Has deep process expertise in logistics
  • Knows the typical pitfalls
  • Combines IT, process and change management
  • Ensures a structured, future-proof solution

Contact ELVIS for a no-obligation initial conversation. Together we will clarify your requirements and define the right path to your new TMS.
